Prison Crusades

I enjoyed the privilege to get to serve with Gospel Express. To see the Holy Spirit move was again an incredible experience! I also enjoyed all the fellowship with friends at the hub.

Thank you for making this possible for our family to share in prison! The church behind bars is always an inspiration to us. The love of Jesus on their face is a blessing. The privilege of being just one more part of bringing Jesus to the people is a joy. Blessings!

What a blessing! I have been going to Allendale this week and am very blessed to see the strong believers but I am burdened with those who have head knowledge yet let Jesus out of their life! I had a good talk with a young man in lockup that left me with the personal challenge: how do I respond in the midst of difficulty?

I was an inmate in Turbeville, SC. My first contact with GEET was in 2014 at the Kirkland yard in Columbia, SC. One of the team members spoke to me at length after the singing. He saw I was moved by hearing the wonderful songs and he gave me the GPS Bible, which I still have and read. It was a true blessing. Each year after, the team always showed up at the infirmary in Turbeville. Thanks to all who minister to inmates. You provided me with hope and inspiration throughout my nine years of incarceration.

Thank you for your service and your commitment to men such as myself who are incarcerated. May the Lord continue to use your ministry to send His Word to the ends of the earth. God bless you!

Bible Course Ministry

My faith has strengthened in so many ways and my life has truly begun to change. I’m learning how to forgive and love people from the heart. At times, I struggle and fall, but the Spirit of God is always picking me up.

Because He’s always there for me, I’m going to continue to serve the Lord with open arms and start being more concerned about the Heavenly things in life. All the glory and praise be to Jesus.

I really enjoyed the Romans Bible study books. These books have really made me open my eyes, not only to see what my past looked like but to know what my future holds. I’ve been doing these Bible studies with another girl and if it wasn’t for her stopping me to ask questions, I would’ve been lost. We both seemed to have the same questions and asked the Chaplain here at Polk County Detention Center who gave us the best answer. I grew up in a Christian home and went to a Christian school, but ventured off like the lost sheep. I’ve come to listen to His voice and come back to the flock.

Discipleship Ministry

I attended a two-day seminar yesterday and today, and it was a blessing from God. I went to a Christian school for 6 years and grew up in the church. Then I came to prison and started studying Islam for years. I had a lot of bondage that took me away from the glory of God. The seminar has brought the light back into my life and has helped me release a lot of baggage. I had a lot of burdens on my shoulders that I had to let go of. I have now forgiven others and myself dramatically. When the time was up, I didn’t want to leave. I can’t express how thankful I am for this seminar.

Tent Crusade Ministry

As a member of the planning committee, it was very humbling to know that the Most High God was working through a group of imperfect people to accomplish His will. Each evening was beautiful in its own way. The evening brother Dave Miller spoke on the family and role of fathers I knew that God was calling me to respond. I fall short as a father; however, this was an opportunity to stand up and say, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!” (Is. 59:21). The community of Linwood and abroad were touched through the meetings.

I sense in the Spirit that there were significant advancements in the Kingdom of God, far beyond what we see in the here and now.

I am touched by having experienced the oneness of being with brothers and sisters in Christ on the other side of the world. Skin color doesn’t matter. We are all one blood, created equal, and we all bleed the same. The physical needs really touched me—things I take for granted, water for example.

The team from America and Canada was more thirsty to reach out and evangelize than any other team before, and they did it without fear…. in the villages, on the streets, at the medical clinics, and even around the guesthouse. Also, more prisoners have come to the Lord than ever before! Even Muslims & Catholics repented. On Sunday, when the Canadian team visited a church, they reached 40 people who came to know the Lord as their personal Savior. In one of the schools, a teacher came to know the Lord immediately after he had heard the Gospel. The two-hour leadership seminar at Kafu Church was spiritually transforming. Many leaders drew to the front to ask forgiveness and release those that had bondage.
